My favorite sport is basketball. It is my favorite sport because my friends play with me and my dad also plays and coaches me. I started playing when I was in third grade. I went to basketball practice and got better. When I transferred schools, that was when I really started to practice. I was determined to practice and get better because all my friends were better than me and I wanted to be as good as them. I got better and, in seventh grade, I made the team.
I became interested in basketball when I saw my first game on T.V. and became interested in the sport. I asked my parents what the sport was and told me it was called basketball. My dad helped me to get better at the sport and I started playing with my friends.
